Located at the heart French-speaking Switzerland, in the north-west of the country, Neuchâtel (around 33,000 inhabitants) is a lovely medieval city surrounded by gorgeous natural sites.

Access

Although there is no airport in Neuchâtel, the city can be easily accessed from any of Switzerland’s three main airports.

By train

  • From Geneva Airport. Trains departing every hour and connecting Neuchâtel in 80 minutes. Tickets cost 48 CHF.
  • From Zurich Airport. Three trains departing every hour and connecting Neuchâtel in approximately 110 minutes. Tickets cost 59 CHF.

  • From Basel main station. Trains departing every 30 minutes and connecting Neuchâtel in 90 minutes. Travelers for Neuchâtel must take a connecting train in Olten or Biel. Tickets cost 41 CHF.

By road

Neuchâtel is located along the A5 highway that crosses the country from east to west.

The conference will be held at the University of Neuchâtel.
